Regards, Dave Patrick There is a free version of ESXi but it is a type one baremetal hypervisor. If you have windows 10 pro then you can probably install the Hyper-V role and stand up a Server guest. Hi, I'm back. I deleted everything and reinstalled Windows RTM. Now Server works fine. And all other Linux installs and works.

So the problem must have been Insider Preview. I got to keep the background synced theme on RTM. So that's good. This is solved. Thursday, February 14, AM. That's too bad. Your link explained that. I noticed it says works with ESXI.

What is that? I read it's about Hardware. I think Hyper-V manger is similar with Hardware. Should I try it? Is it easy to use? Similar to Workstation?

I know Server isn't on Workstation 15 but now I have a problem with Linux.

I uninstalled Workstation, tried version 14 Trial, reinstalled workstation 15, but I still get the black screen on VMware. I think the problem is with my new Insider Preview Build. Ever since installing Preview my VM's don't work. I might have to rollback to earlier builds. I would rather not. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'll talk to VMware too. You can double-check if your hardware supports virtualization in a couple of different ways. At a click of a button, it shows you if your system supports Virtualization or not. It tells if you if your CPU supports virtualization or not. But you have to be mindful that it just gives you whether your CPU has the virtualization feature or not. Finally, as long as you use the correct unlocker for the VMware product you are using, you should be good. You should also make sure that your system supports virtualization and is enabled — you will see the Mac OS listed in VMware once both of these things are in order.
